I tried to make the Rye Molasses Bread as well as a Date Bread neither turned out great but I think my kitchen was too cold for the yeast to rise properly so I’ll try again and update the post another day.
Barrel scraping. Incredibly sweet. You could probably cut both the sugar and the raisins in half. And if you do it, be sure to use a very good bread.
A pretty tasty, light and fluffy bread seasoned with herbs.
The title sounds very light and refreshing but with all the cream and chicken stock this soup was a bit on the heavy side. Pretty tasty but not my favourite as I already have a hard time with cold soups.
I wasn’t able to flip this dish like the recipe called but the potatoes were still an excellent accompaniment to the Steak Diane.
A very simple recipe that combines a simple pan fried steak with a shallot, Worcestershire sauce and butter spread over top. But a big winner with my girlfriend. Very tasty.
Neither me nor my girlfriend are big shrimp eaters and the sauce was incredibly boozy. So a bit of a fail. But I could see the direction this dish was going in and with a little less wine in the sauce it could be a very nice appetizer…for somebody else.
